This doesn't seem right.

I am exchaning $40 worth of product and ordering 55.75. CS says that shipping is 5% of the difference (the form says that too). So is my shipping really only 80 cents?

    That just doesn't seem right.

    Yes!

I was going to post on this, but when I exchanged Kit's Beach PJs, I also stuck some replacement part orders on there. I only spent $7, but I was thinking that it definitely makes sense to use an exchange to order more. . . .

You can't use the $10 code or 10% off, but the shipping is soooo cheap.

    Thats crazy!

I'm not going to "take advantage of it" too much, but it's nice to know the shipping is only 80 cents. I guess it's because you have to pay shipping back to them, and because you paid the original shipping.

If you add more stuff (beyond whatever items you used to calculate the 80 cents), your shipping will go up.

It's nice that they do this, though -- I guess they give you a break on exchanges because they know that you have already paid shipping TWICE for an item that you aren't keeping. It all evens out.

My shipping ended up coming to a negative number! According to the post office, it says they received my items on the 6th. How long does it take to get your exchange in the mail and do they email you to let you know what the status is? How do you know when you will be getting your items?

How could it have been a negative number? You only put shipping on it at all if your new order exceeds your old order.

If you get a refund, you don't have to fill out that box at all.

There's not a way you can track your returns. As far as I know you would have to call them and inquire as to the status of the exchange. They don't list that under your account on the webpage as far as "order status". The last time we exchanged something- it took about a week or two turn around time.

If you are returning a doll you bought offline or by phone, I think they use the original order number when processing the return. You might be able to help them out that way if you call and give CS the order number.

For mixed returns though, I have never gotten any contact from the company. The exchange just shows up on my doorstep.
